As I sat this morning at church under the teaching on brokenness, I realized something. Anxiety over anything is evidence of independence. In other words, when we are anxious, we are not fully dependent upon the Lord God--reigning sovereign over this universe. As John Piper says, when God does one thing, He is doing 10,000 things we cannot see. Depend fully upon Him through this thing we call life.
