Paul says, "Rejoice in the Lord always, again I will say rejoice!" (Philippians 4:4) Always. Not just when things are going like you or I think they should. Always. In fact, rejoicing in the Lord may be even more powerful when things aren't so good. It is then that our minds need to be set back on the Sovereign One--He who is reigning on high with loving hands and holy plans.
Maybe you are in the deepest pit of your life, maybe you're not, either way the answer is the same, friend...REJOICE.
